This page is about this website. Each app has its own policy: SSH UI and WatchCalc.
What this site stores in your browser
One thing, and only if you press the theme button in the header: a
localStorage entry named sk-theme, holding the word
light or dark. It exists so the site does not flash the wrong colours
on your next visit. Cycling the button back to Auto deletes it.
There are no cookies. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no embedded fonts, videos or widgets, and no third-party request of any kind: every image, style and script on this site is served from this site.
What the server records
The server writes one line per request to its system journal, containing the HTTP method, the
route (/sshui, not the full path), the status code, and how many milliseconds the
response took. That is the entire record.
It does not record your IP address, your user agent, the query string, the referring page, or any cookie or header. Nothing identifies a visitor, and there is no way to reconstruct one visitor's path through the site from what is kept.
Third parties
This site is a single program on a virtual server I rent; the hosting provider can see the network traffic reaching it, as any host can. TLS certificates come from Let's Encrypt, which learns the names of the site's hostnames - public information already, since they are in the certificate. Links out to Google Play take you to Google, whose own privacy policy applies once you are there.
Changes
If this ever changes, the updated version appears at this address with a new date above.
